YOUR DATA

Privacy policy.

Last updated:

This policy explains how LaunchVideoAI ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you use launchvideoai.com and our video creation service. LaunchVideoAI is operated from Australia.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, and authentication information when you create or use an account.
  • Video details: the website URL you enter, content and assets retrieved from that website, your style and length choices, creative notes, revision requests, and generated videos and project files.
  • Payment records: package purchases, payment status, transaction identifiers, and billing information provided through checkout. Stripe processes card details; our application does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
  • Technical and support information: IP addresses, browser and device information, request and error logs, and information you include when contacting us.

We collect information directly from you, through use of the service, from the website you ask us to process, and from the sign-in and payment providers you choose. Only submit website content and personal information you have permission to use. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive personal information in a video brief.

2. Signing in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, we request the OpenID, email, and basic profile permissions. Google provides a unique account identifier, your email address, and basic profile information such as your name. We store your Google account identifier, name, and email to create your LaunchVideoAI account, recognize you when you return, and associate your purchases and videos with your account.

We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendars. Google identity information is not used for advertising or to train AI models. It is shared only as needed to operate and secure your account, comply with law, or carry out a request you authorize.

Our handling of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its applicable Limited Use requirements. You can remove LaunchVideoAI access in your Google Account connections. Removing access does not itself delete your LaunchVideoAI account; contact us to request deletion.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, create and revise videos, deliver downloads, process purchases, maintain your project history, respond to support requests, diagnose problems, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use Google account information for targeted advertising.

Video generation uses AI. Website content, assets, creative instructions, and relevant project context are sent to our AI processing providers to produce the requested work. Avoid putting private information into a brief or source website that you do not want processed for your video.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use providers for specific parts of the service:

  • Google for Google signup and login.
  • Stripe for checkout and payment processing when you purchase a package.
  • Cloudflare for website delivery and security, and R2 for temporary video delivery storage.
  • OpenRouter and its configured AI provider for generation processing. The configured generation route uses Anthropic models through Amazon Bedrock.
  • Our hosting infrastructure for the application, database, project files, and archived videos.

Providers receive the information needed for their role. Authorized operators may access account or project information when necessary for support, maintenance, or security. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect the service or users, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections.

Our providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Processing locations depend on the provider and service used. Contact us if you need more information about overseas processing.

5. Storage, retention, and security

We keep account and project information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain access to your videos and revisions, resolve disputes, and satisfy recordkeeping requirements.

Completed videos use Cloudflare R2 for delivery during the first seven days. Videos and editable project files are also retained on our production server storage. After seven days, the R2 copy is removed once the server archive has been verified. If verification fails, the R2 copy may remain longer to prevent data loss. This seven-day period is not automatic deletion of your video or account.

We use HTTPS, access controls, and server-managed sessions to protect account access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you request deletion, we review the information we can remove and explain any records we must retain for legal, security, or transaction purposes. Residual backup copies may remain until those backups are replaced.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use essential cookies for authentication and security. We also use browser session storage to preserve your website and video choices while you move through setup and sign-in. Drafts expire from the setup flow after seven days. You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or remove an unfinished draft.

When a website favicon is displayed, your browser may request it from DuckDuckGo's icon service. That request includes the entered domain and normal connection information, such as your IP address.

7. Your choices and requests

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold, or request deletion of your account and associated project information, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will explain if a legal or other permitted reason prevents us from fulfilling it.

If you have a privacy complaint, contact us with the relevant details. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the privacy regulator that applies to you.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or our information handling changes. The latest version and its update date will appear here. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice before using your information in a substantially different way.
